Cloth-covered First World War Field Service Pocket Book belonging to Major J McDonnell, Kilsharvan, Drogeda, Co. Meath, inscribed Jan 1914 and 5th Leinster; Major McDonnell's title stamp accords him 'D.A.Q.M. General, Queenstown Fortress' Pocket Book contains information and maps describing camp layouts, supply trains, map symbols, flags and lamps and so on.
