Description

Full page Williamite print depicting open boats unloading supplies on a rocky shoreline amid scenes of reunion and welcome. In the centre behind, the Royal Barge is carrying King William and the boat is being blown ashore by trumpetters. A fort stands on a promontory to the left, while a large fleet approaches. /an inscription in French reads 'The King William disembarked at Belfast in Ireland 24 June'. The print is numbered '4' in pencil and is bound in a book containing 95 engravings depicting the life of William III.
