Description

Full page Williamite print depicting William and Mary, the new sovereigns, on a barge on the Thames on their way from Whitehall to Westminster to be crowned, with cheering onlookers. The inscription in French refers to their journey 'from Whitehall to go about the palace of Westminster 21 April 1689'. This print is numbered '19' in pencil and is bound in a book containing 95 engravings depicting the life of William III.
