Full page Williamite print showing a party of seven bishops being taken by boat to the Tower of London on the 18th June 1688. The inscription in French refers to 'the Bishops being sent to the Tower on 8/15 June 1688 for having presented an address requesting they be excused from reading a declaration regarding freedom of conscience on 18/25 of the same month'. The print is bound in a book containing 95 engravings depicting the life of William III.
