Description

Williamite print featuring progress of William III until his arrival in England with eight vignettes entitled i) The murder and ruin of the lords and Cities; ii) The seven bishops imprisoned in the Tower; iii) The Pretended Prince of Wales born; iv) His R.H. the Prince of Orange going for England; v) His R. H. landing at Exemouth Bay; vi) His R. H. lodged in a fisherman's hut; vii) His R. H.'s arrival in England and complimented by the most eminent Lords etc; xiii) His R.H's reception at London, with a plan and key showing the order of the fleet in sailing; n.b DB 800 entry describes only five prints; all the 34 prints in B014365 are so described on the box label, and have been documented as such.
