- decoration: gold rims, gilt bordered panels on dark blue, 3 large panels each has bird of paradise alternating with 6 small panels at rim and base of insect on white ground. On saucer these are ranged round circular centrepiece of pink rose with leaves and subsidiary blossoms on white ground. Birds treated imaginatively with green and yellow foreground and conventional foliage. condition: handle broken in 3 places. treatment: repaired.
