Vanguard Unionist Party poster, blue and orange on white. 'Say Yes to the Unionism of Carson & Craig.' Poster for the Assembly Elections 1973. The party was opposed to the government’s proposals for an enforced power-sharing executive and a formalised North-South Irish Dimension. Vanguard received 10.5% of first preference votes in the election and won seven seats.
