Description

Silk has always been regarded as a beautiful and luxurious fabric. This cream silk kimono, lined with scarlet and beautifully embroidered with scarlet blossoms and gold cranes, was created for a Japanese bride on the Island of Hokkaido in 1980. The cranes are a symbol of good fortune and happiness.
