Description
Pot : urn Vase found in 1840 perhaps in a cairn covering three concentric circles of stones. It is complete except for about one third of the rim and neck. Decorated with low vertical ribs on neck and whipped cord impressions. Traces of ten vertical ribs survive; there may have been twelve originally. The pot contained a ball of clay or 'ashes' (?).
