Papers prepared by Philip Robinson during his time as Head of Collections in the Ulster Folk Museum. Dr Robinson has published numerous works on Ulster folklife and language. He was a founder member of the Ulster-Scots Language Society, the Ulster-Scots Heritage Council, and served on the Board of the Ulster-Scots Agency. These research papers have been assembled in preparation for the Folk Poets of Ulster Series, with poets including James Orr and Adam Lynn from Cullybackey and the novel, Wake the Tribe o’Dan. Contents include early 19th-century poetry published in the Belfast Newsletter, offprints, correspondence, and manuscripts.
