Scope and content: Bound leather volume with Mecredy’s initials embossed on cover, ornate Celtic designs and sealed with a gold metal key and lock. Designed and illuminated by James McConnell of Sackville Street, Dublin.
Presentation programme and guestlist for ceremony at Gresham Hotel, 4th January 1913, inserted.
The first page, written in calligraphy, begins: "Address to Richard J. Mecredy on the occasion of his Silver Jubilee from his numerous friends within and without the United Kingdom...6th Sept, 1912."
Mounted pages include scenic illustrations, written tributes and signatures.
