- The Northern Ireland Peace Rides were a series of motorcycle tours in 1997—a year before the Good Friday Agreement—to recognise anyone who had worked to maintain peace during the Troubles and for general leisure. This archive contains material from the company ‘Northern Ireland Motorcycle Tours.’ Contents: a sheet outlining the aims of the tours and instructions (1997); a leaflet outlining the events of the overarching company for the year; stickers and a patch with ‘Northern Ireland Peace Ride’ attached; a business card for Northern Ireland Motorcycle Tours-Team; a letter concerning the donation of material to the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum (2001); an updated 2007 company brochure; a brochure for NI Peace Ride 2 (1998) and 3 (1999); a gold tours badge.
