An archive containing items from John Sherrard’s journey on the S.S. Canberra in August 1997 from Southampton to Turkey, Greece, and Gibraltar. The ship was active in the P&O fleet from 1961–97 after being built in Harland and Wolff shipyards around the 1950s. It served as a troopship in the Falklands War in 1982 and sailed its last voyage before scrapping with John Sherrard on board, making the cruise significant.
