Scope and content: Living Linen Project was set up in 1995 to record the knowledge of the linen industry still available within a nucleus of people formerly working in the industry in Ulster by interview. Comprised largely of research notes and interview transcripts; also including photographs, wage books, industry manuals, and minutes of the Handkerchief & Embroidery Association and Trade Hemstitchers’ Association.
